If you or a loved one experiences a sudden health issue that can’t wait until we can schedule a visit, call and set up same-day, walk-in care at your closest Genesis Medica office. Walk-in care is to take care of health needs that are not life-threatening, but could make you very uncomfortable if you had to wait for treatment. For less pressing needs, please use our online booking service to set up an appointment.

Walk-in care provides neither a full range of diagnostic services (such as X-rays), nor the treatment capabilities of an emergency room, but it’s good for issues such as:

• Asthma incidents, when mild to moderate
• Cuts that may need stitches, provided the bleeding is controllable
• Eye irritation or object lodged in the eye
• Falls
• Fever
• Flu symptoms
• Muscle tears
• Severe sore throat
• Skin rashes
• Sprains and strains
